Video Editor

Overview

The Video Editor will assist in creating and editing video content for online courses. This role involves working closely with course instructors and the content development team to produce engaging educational materials.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for digital platforms, social media, and internal marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to develop and execute video projects from start to finish.
  • Add visual effects, music, graphics, and sound effects to enhance storytelling and engage viewers.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with the Basava Acu Academy and meets quality standards.
  • Review and implement feedback from team members to make necessary revisions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve editing skills and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in fine arts / Any relevant degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience with video editing softwares or Talented Freshers are welcome to apply (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or any other related Tools).

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
  • Basic understanding of motion graphics, animations and audio editing.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with social media video formats and trends.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.

Work Environment

  • Location: In-office, depending on the applicant’s preference.
